Here you will find information about Lanier Middle School, as well as details about the support that the PTO provides to the school through its various programs.
Lanier PTO represents all families, teachers, and administrators of Lanier Middle School. We are committed to maintaining high standards and a safe learning environment and support the school in many ways, such as:
- Providing academic support to the teachers, like funding professional-development courses to ensure the highest quality teachers
- Donating funds to teachers for school supplies not provided by HISD
- Funding campus upgrades and renovations
- Publishing The Purple Page to provide parents with up-to-date school news

EVERYONE IS WELCOME AND ENCOURAGED TO JOIN US IN THE LIBRARY ON MAY 31ST FOR OUR FINAL GENERAL PTO MEETING OF THE SCHOOL YEAR.
ATTENDEES WILL VOTE ON UPDATES TO BYLAWS, STANDING RULES, AND NOMINATED EXECUTIVE BOARD MEMBERS FOR THE 2024/25 SCHOOL YEAR.

On Thursday, May 23, 2024, Lanier will host its 11th annual International Peace Festival for students, faculty, parents, administrators and the public at large. Directed by Lanier’s Model UN organization, the IPF is organized and managed by students.
Attendees can participate in interactives such as creating imaginary countries, chalk art, developing individual peace plans and many other opportunities. There will be a video game tournament, talent show, scavenger hunt and much more. Come help us celebrate peace! More information here: https://www.
